FREE SCREENING! Kingston Film Foundation is excited to announce an outdoor, free movie series in Kingston’s Midtown Linear Park. First up is Gina Prince-Bythewood’s coming of age story, Love & Basketball. This sports-centric, coming-of-age romance follows the lives of Monica (Sanaa Lathan) and Quincy (Omar Epps). Prince-Bythewood called it her attempt to make a “black When Harry Met Sally”. This event will feature local food vendors, including Masa Midtown and Little Rye Bakehouse, as well as beer from local nanobrewery Kingston Standard. Each film starts at sunset, and is preceded by a short, original video introduction.
