FREE SCREENING! Kingston Film Foundation is proud to present the second film in our outdoor, Summer movie series. Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 sci-fi epic is the blueprint for science fiction films. Written by Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke, the film is considered one of the greatest of all time, and has been praised for its accurate depictions of space flight, its pioneering special effects, and its ambiguous narrative. This event will feature local food vendors, including Masa Midtown and Little Rye Bakehouse, as well as beer from local nanobrewery Kingston Standard. Each film starts at sunset, and is preceded by a short, original video introduction.
